Über den Autor
Elisabeth Berger has been working as aresearcher and doctoral student at the business start-ups and entrepreneurshipresearch group at the university of Hohenheim since 2013. She has a researchinterest in configurational methods, especially Qualitative ComparativeAnalysis in the context of entrepreneurship. She has a Bachelor's degree ininternational business & finance from the Duale Hochschule Stuttgart andthe University of Glamorgan (UK) and a Master's degree in internationalbusiness & economics from the University of Hohenheim.Andreas Kuckertz is professor ofentrepreneurship at the University of Hohenheim. Moreover, he is an associatemember of the Networked Value Systems Research Group at the University ofVaasa, Finland. He is on the editorial boards of the International Journal ofEntrepreneurial Behaviour and Research, Journal of Small Business Managementand Zeitschrift für KMU und Entrepreneurship. Within the European Council forSmall Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB) he serves as the Country VicePresident Germany. He is a member of the board of FGF e.V., Germany's leadingacademic association for entrepreneurship. After graduating in media andcommunications, business administration and philosophy at the Universities ofMarburg and Leipzig (M.A. 2001), he finished his doctoral studies in 2005 atthe University of Duisburg-Essen with a thesis on venture capital finance. In2011 he completed his professorial qualification ('Habilitation') at theUniversity of Duisburg-Essen. His research on various aspects of entrepreneurship,strategy, and innovation has been published in journals such as Journal ofBusiness Venturing, Journal of Business Research, International Journal ofTechnology Management, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development or StrategicEntrepreneurship Journal.
