Über den Autor
Christine Van den Wyngaert is a Professor of Law at the University of Antwerp. She has participated in various study projects of the European Union, including the Corpus Juris project (proposing the creation of a European Public Prosecutor). She was an ad hoc judge in the International Court of Justice in the Arrest Warrant Case (2002) and is cu-rently serving as an ad litem judge in the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague. Guy Stessens teaches criminal law at the University of Antwerp and is an administrator at the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union. Liesbeth Janssens is a research assistant at the Law Faculty of the University of Antwerp.
