Über den Autor


Jan Andrews (www.janandrews.ca) is a well-known author and storyteller who has been nominated for the Governor General’s Award three times. She has written books that have become classics, including Very Last First Time (illustrated by Ian Wallace), The Auction (illustrated by Karen Reczuch) and Out of the Everywhere: Tales for a New World (illustrated by Simon Ng). She is the founding president of the Storytellers of Canada and has performed at festivals and in concert throughout Canada and the US, as well as in Australia and England.Dušan Petricic is a world-renowned cartoonist, illustrator and graphic designer. He has co-authored/illustrated more than thirty books, including Mattland (by Hazel Hutchins and Gail Herbert), which won the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrator’s Award and the Marilyn Baillie Picture Book Award, and Ned Mouse Breaks Away (by Tim Wynne-Jones). Born in Belgrade, he now lives in Toronto, where he is editorial cartoonist at the Toronto Star.
