The Secret of the Water Knight
There's something mysterious about the island where Katha and her parents are spending their holidays. Katha senses it immediately. One day, she finds a strange whistle in the water by the bather's terrace. Suddenly, she can hear the animals talking to her. The water knight, a dolphin, tells her about the terrible curse the toad has put on the island. Only a child can overcome the toad, and then only on a full-moon night once every 40 years ? and just such a night is not far off. Katha knows it's up to her to free the island. But to do so, she has to dive deep down into the toad's cave ? she, of all people, with her terrible fear of swimming?
