Lilibat was primarily written to put the Authors dreams down on paper. The dreams were vivid and some of the illustrations done by the Author are what she actually saw. These dreams spill over into books two and three. Phillipa is the main character and is put through some gruesome tasks most of which are out of her control. She meets new friends as well as monsters. Mostly she is put into unusual situations which cannot be solved by her alone. She is also torn between Lilibat and home.
