The Economics of Infectious Disease
The threat of infection, both new and re-emerging strains that have developed drug resistance, is a major public health issue. This book shows the contribution economists can make to the management and control of these diseases, using a range of economic analysis studies. It also discusses regulations and governance of infection control.
