Über den Autor
David L. Andrews is Professor of Physical Cultural Studies at the University of Maryland. He previously held an associate professorship in the Department of Human Movement Sciences and Education at the University of Memphis. He is the author of Sport-Commerce-Culture: Essays on Sport in Late Capitalist America (2006), and the co-editor of Sport, culture and advertising: Identities, commodities and the politics of representation (2004), Sport and Corporate Nationalisms (2004), and Qualitative methods in sport studies (2005). Ben Carrington teaches sociology at the University of Texas at Austin and is a Carnegie Visiting Research Fellow at Leeds Beckett University in England. His most recent book is Race, Sport and Politics: The Sporting Black Diaspora (2010).
