John Barr never disappoints, and has written another exciting collection of organ music for Advent and Christmas. The first piece is an uplifting trumpet tune based on Adeste Fideles with the melody moving from hand to hand accompanied by both duple and triple patterns, and a simple pedal part. The lovely melody O Come Little Children is set in a bright, almost trio style and will be quickly learned. The final piece is a multi-sectioned partita based on Veni Emmanuel.
