Über den Autor

Dave Anderson is a retired US Navy officer, Vietnam vet, and IT systems analyst/project manager. He's now a Hawaii resident, animal artist, and dog lover! Over more than a decade, he's completed nearly a thousand portraits of animals: wildlife, cats, and dogs but mostly dogs, since dogs' expressive faces make such wonderful artistic subjects and he considers all canines to be God's gifts to mankind. Instilled with a love of poetry since his childhood, he also enjoys composing humorous poems. His mission in life since retiring years ago is to see if he can make his PoochPics and PoochPoems support the cause of animal welfare. With his wife, Judy, he splits his time between residences in Honolulu and Independence, MO.
