Über den Autor
Zaza Burchuladze was born in Tiflis in 1973. He is a novelist, screenwriter, actor, and translator, beinging many Russian authors into Georgian, including Dostoevsky, Sorokin and Bitov. Long ignored by critics because of his shocking subject matter and experiments with language, Burchuladze is now considered one of the most important writers of post-Soviet Georgian literature.
