Cohasset Ridge
Inspired by memories of living in the mountain community of Cohasset, California during my preteen years, this fictional novel portrays not only my life on the ridge, but the life of four other boys that preceded me. To give credibility to each story segment, actual historical events and methods are used to accomplish tasks, specific to the period. The book is enhanced by the drawings of Richard Colby, retired art professor, illustrating scenes depicted in my text. David Lawrence is from South Wales and is an author of children's stories. He started writing age twenty-one and is still writing five decades later. His inspiration comes from the places he's been and the people he's met throughout his travels around the beautiful landscapes of South and West Wales. David finds writing provides a wonderful refuge, and hopes readers enjoy the little worlds he has created.
