Über den Autor

A former lecturer on English and Spanish literature, David Butler has been writing full-time since 2010. Writing in The Sunday Times of his second novel, The Judas Kiss (New Island, 2012), the reviewer Alan Murdoch commended Butler's remarkable ability for characterisation, singling out the predatory Malcolm as 'one of the most outlandishly repulsive creations of recent Irish fiction.' Literary awards include the Brendan Kennelly and Féile Filíochta prizes for poetry, and the Maria Edgeworth and Fish International awards for the short story. He lives in Bray.
