Über den Autor
Michael W. Kirkwood, PhD, ABPP, is Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and codirects the Children's Hospital Colorado Concussion Program in Aurora. Dr. Kirkwood is a board member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology and has served as President of the Colorado Neuropsychological Society. His research focuses on characterizing and treating the effects of pediatric traumatic brain injury, with a number of current projects focused on understanding persistent problems following concussion. Dr. Kirkwood is the author of more than 25 journal articles and book chapters.Keith Owen Yeates, PhD, ABPP, is Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics, Psychology, and Psychiatry at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is Director of the Center for Biobehavioral Health at The Research Institute and Chief of the Section of Pediatric Psychology and Neuropsychology, both at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. A Fellow of the American Psychological Association, Dr. Yeates has received the Arthur Benton Award from the International Neuropsychological Society and the Independent Scientist Career Development Award from the National Institutes of Health, among other honors. His research focuses on the neurobehavioral outcomes of childhood brain injuries and disorders. Dr. Yeates is the author of over 115 journal articles and 35 book chapters.
