Gilbert Karareba is an independent researcher, and graduated with a PhD from the Graduate School of Education at The University of Western Australia. His research interests include international and comparative education, education and conflict, and educational leadership in diverse contextsSimon Clarke is Professor of Education at The University of Western Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Council for Educational Leadership. His research interests include school leadership and curriculum.Tom O'Donoghue is Professor of Education at The University of Western Australia, Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia, and Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. His research interests include the history of contemporary education and schooling in challenging circumstances.
