KELLY BARNHILL has written several middle grade novels, including The Girl Who Drank the Moon, which won the 2017 John Newbery Medal, as well as Dreadful Young Ladies and Other Stories for adults. She is also the recipient of the World Fantasy Award, the SFWA Andre Norton Award, and the PEN/USA literary prize. She lives in Minneapolis with her family.
