Über den Autor
Like a majority of Americans, Mary Steinberg, the poet behind When They Go Low, We Go Haiku, woke on November 9, 2016, to the start of our national nightmare , a.k.a. the Grifter, was catapulted into the White House by the poorly educated and emboldened white supremacists. While many people were stunned by this dark turn in our country's history, Mary began speaking in seventeen syllables. Her first Haiku was, Loved the color orange/ Pumpkins, autumn leaves, tigers/Now Orange is new Blech. Mary lives in Chicago with her husband Ron, and avid haiku reader.
