From world-renowned relationship experts and New York Times-bestselling authors Dr. John Gottman and Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman, a book that offers a simple yet powerful plan to transform your relationship in seven daysWhat makes love last? Why does one couple stay together forever, while another falls apart? And most important, is there a formula for building a love that lasts? For the past fifty years, Drs. John Gottman and Julie Schwartz Gottman have been studying love. They've gathered data on over three thousand couples, looking at everything from their body language to the way they converse to their heart rates and stress hormone levels. Every scrap of data that could be gathered they collected. They wanted to see if they could isolate the building blocks of love. Untitled distills their life's work into a bite-size, seven-day action plan, taking us through their most foundational findings-the first steps toward building a love that lasts. In the course of a week, you can shift your relationship for the better-and you can do it in small, immediately actionable steps. There will be no grand gestures and no big, hard conversations. There's nothing to buy or do to prepare. Anyone can do this, from any starting point. The authors' decades of research have revealed that a great relationship is founded on the small stuff. When we experience conflict or strife in our relationships, the first step is finding what's good and what works. There is a formula for a good relationship, and in the seven days that follow, this book will show you how a few small and easy changes can fundamentally transform the culture of your relationship for the better.
