Zebert Mahachi is a distinguished Zimbabwean academic and former Customs Officer with a wealth of experience in shipping, forwarding and customs clearing matters spanning some ten years followed by an illustrious career in academia. He has consulted widely on shipping matters for leading TPOs in Zimbabwe. He holds an MBA degree from the Zimbabwean Open University and is an authority in this area in Zimbabwe. The two authors once worked together at Chinhoyi University of Technology in Zimbabwe.
