Über den Autor
Dr Benjamin Nickl is a cultural studies researcher with an interest in popular culture studies in film, television, literature, performative and mass media. Dr Nickl also focuses on educational studies and researches in the areas of transnational cultures, German, American, and Australian transnationalisms and global transcultural dialogue, as well as transnational teaching practices in secondary and tertiary education.Dr Stefan Popenici is currently working at Charles Darwin University and is an Honorary Fellow of the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Melbourne. He is also Associate Director of the Imaginative Education Research Group at Simon Fraser University, Canada.Dr Deane Blackler is an independent scholar who has taught at the University of Tasmania and Monash University. Dr Blackler has been a researcher of, and published on, the prose fiction of WG Sebald, English literacy, and Education. A graduate of the University of Melbourne with a Master of Education degree, she has also taught in the secondary sector in the areas of English, Literature, and LOTE, and held senior administrative positions in a number of schools. Her doctoral thesis was awarded a Research Commendation by the University of Tasmania.
