The author grew up on a farm in rural Western Massachusetts near the Quabbin Reservoir. He worked his way through college, majoring in chemical engineering. A career in aerospace and industry followed, which included working at all levels of engineering and management.Recovering from a life-changing accident, he started a new career as a writer. By combining his diversified background and experience at running a business, he was able to map out plans to address today's conflicting world environment and protect our shores from those who would do us harm.
