Über den Autor

Dr Robin Craig has a PhD in molecular biology and a keen interest in science and philosophy. He believes that novels, like all art, should be one in thought, theme and style: to nourish the mind as much as the soul. His books specialize in blending fact and speculation in dramatic and engaging stories, driven by strong characters and intriguing, topical philosophical themes. In addition to near future science fiction exploring contemporary issues such as artificial intelligence (Frankensteel), genetic engineering (The Geneh War) and cyborg technology (Time Enough for Killing), his books include time travel (The Time Surgeons), alternative history (The Passion of Judas) and a collection of short stories (Past, Present, Future). He also writes non-fiction. In addition to 14 scientific papers and a long-running philosophical series in TableAus (the journal of Australian Mensa), he has published numerous philosophical essays on Amazon.com and was a contributor to The Australian Book of Atheism with his chapter Good Without God, an essay on the importance and validity of secular ethics.
