Über den Autor
Alice Perrin (1867-1934) was a British novelist born in colonial India. As the daughter of a Major General, she received a quality education in England. After she married, Perrin moved her family back to India, where she raised her son. She rose to fame for her portrayal of British life in colonial India, and maintained a publishing schedule of releasing a novel every two to three years. At the end of her career, she completed seventeen novels, many of which were bestsellers.
