The Price of a Seat is a fictional account of a man who moved to Detroit, Michigan in the 1930's in search of a better life for him and his family. Along the way he develops a habit of drinking heavily which begins to interfere with his hopes and dreams. The Price of a Seat is not AA-approved literature. It's sole purpose is to bring to life the plight of an alcoholic using some comical and some not so comical scenarios. Hopefully, it will provide people who have been down a similar road a fun way to interact with others. The events, people, and dialogue listed within this book are all fictional.…
