Thomas William Baker has almost 40 years of experience as a corporate and business transactions attorney and over 15 years of experience as an Adjunct Professor in the Auburn University Executive MBA Program, for which he wrote this book. He received his A.B. degree in political science from Syracuse University in 1972, his M.B.A. from Georgia State University in 1978, and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1981. Mr. Baker: is the Managing Member of Coronat Services, LLC (www.coronatservices.com), which provides educational, strategic planning, business advisory, and corporate governance services; is the Chairman and Chief Executive Office of Boncrest Resource Group, Inc. (www.boncrest.org), a tax exempt organization dedicated to developing charitable opportunities for the benefit of the public through innovative organizational structures and creative financing; and continues to practice law in the Atlanta, Georgia office of Baker Donelson, a prominent national law firm.
