Über den Autor

Tyrol, South Tyrol, Trentino - three neighbouring lands with a shared history and a similar lifestyle, and an area where the Haflinger has played an important role in agricultural, cultural and economic development. The political separation of these regions after the First World War had far-reaching consequences on the work of the Haflinger breeding associations at that time. However, awareness of the importance of breeding associations in the Haflinger's land of origin has led to a reforging of our connection, here where it is such an important part of the culture, history and tradition of our lands, and a shared wish to safeguard its future on a worldwide level, both in breeding and in sport. That is why we created this publication which takes us on a horse-back ride through the European regions of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino, home of the Haflinger.
