His research interests include fraud and misconduct in financial services as well as white-collar crime trends and elder financial exploitation. Steven won the best paper award for risk management and insurance at the 2019 CFP Board's Academic Research Colloquium and has authored papers on the regulatory landscape surrounding financial advising and planning, as well as determinants of financial advisor misconduct. His work has been featured in MarketWatch, Nerd's Eye View, and Financial Advisor Magazine. He is also an arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.Jerusha Lee is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Accounting at La Sierra University in Riverside, California. Her dissertation research focuses on the impact of political affiliation and financial incentives on COVID-19-related risk preferences and vaccination hesitancy. She is presently earning her PhD in Economics in the Division of Politics and Economics within the School of Social Science, Policy, and Evaluation at Claremont Graduate University.
