Joseph Margolis is Laura H. Carnell Professor of Philosophy at Temple University and has just completed the third of a trio of books surveying American philosophy in the second half of the twentieth century. He is also the author of Interpretation Radical but Not Unruly, The Arts and the Definition of the Human, and The Truth About Relativism.
