Text messaging for depression and alcohol dependence syndrome
Mobile phone text message technology has the potential to improve outcomes for patients with depression and co-morbid alcohol dependence syndrome. This study explores the feasibility of using supportive text messages to improve on mood and abstinence outcomes for patients with depression and comorbid alcohol dependence syndrome. Über den Autor
Dr Agyapong holds four specialist postgraduate certifications in psychiatry, including an MD in Psychiatry. He is a consultant and Clinical Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at the University of Dublin, Trinity College. In addition he has been a visiting scholar to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana since 2009.
