Über den Autor
Pam Grossman is the Dean of the Graduate School of Education and the George and Diane Weiss Professor of Education at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her position at Penn, Dr. Grossman was the Nomellini-Olivier Professor of Education at the Stanford University School of Education, where she founded and led the Center to Support Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Grossman's research focuses on the preparation of teachers and other professionals and on teaching quality. Her most recent work focuses on practice-based teacher education and the role of core practices of teaching in teacher preparation and professional development. She was elected to the National Academy of Education in 2009 and currently sits on the Academy's Board of Directors. She is Chair of the Spencer Foundation Board of Directors and a member of the Board of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. She was elected to the American Association of Arts and Sciences in 2017.
