Then Sings My Soul is a memoire of Dr. Donald Winters and his wife Frances. This devoted couple gave their entire lives promoting quality church music in the Southern Baptist Convention and training ministers to do so. After graduating from Westminster Choir College, a division of Princeton University the became the first Ministers of Music at First Baptist Church of Atlanta and there developed a fully graded choir program based on the Westminster Model. Über den Autor
Tommy King currently serves as President of William Carey University. He is the first graduate of the school to hold this position. Dr. King holds degrees from William Carey University, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, the University of Southern Mississippi and Liberty University. While a student at William Carey in the mid-sixties, Tommy sang in the Chapel Choir, Oratorio Choir and the Carey College Chorale, conducted by Donald Winters.
