In recent years, floriculture is becoming increasingly popular as a commercial enterprise on account of considerable potential for export. Tuberose can be grown on a wide range of soil and climatic conditions even in saline and alkaline conditions. The size of bulb plays an important role on growth and flowering of tuberose. The optimum plant density plays a major role in deciding vegetative growth, flower yield and multiplication of bulbs/bulblets.
