Presented research work in this book has been carried out at world's oldest single Dee variable Energy Cylotron (VEC), installed at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. The classical, 26-inch VEC capable of providing beams of 1H, 2H, 3H and 4He. Since last fifteen years, the facility is extensively being utilized for Ion Beam Analysis (IBA) using proton beam.
