Springbank Papers
Through the Sun's Eyes
Priest, poet, professor, and environmentalist Jim Conlon has worked tirelessly building bridges between science and religion for more than a quarter century. In the tradition of cultural historian and geologian Thomas Berry at the Riverdale Center for Religious Research, Fr. Conlon composed programs and reflections at Springbank Retreat in Kingstree, South Carolina, during his retirement years. He says, Through this work, I reflect on the watershed moments that affect all our lives. I feel a mysterious and incessant invitation. I hope to understand, experience, and give expression to the questions still rumbling in my soul.

Über den Autor
Jim Conlon was born in Canada in 1936. He received a degree in chemistry from Assumption University of Windsor, and later in theology from the University of Western Ontario, and a PhD from Union Institute and Graduate School. Deeply moved by the impact of the second Vatican Council, the civil rights movement, and the Vietnam War, Jim moved from pastoral work to the streets. Today he is one of the leading teachers of the new narrative of the cosmos. For more information and a complete list of Jim's published works, see: www.jimconlon.net.
