Über den Autor
Alfred Lee Anduze, MD is a native Virgin Islander, with family roots in France, Puerto Rico, and Easter United States. Growing up among the great storytellers and fabricators of a small but cosmopolitan multiethnic community, he acquired an unquenchable love for reading and global travel. As a practicing ophthalmologist, producing scientific papers for journals and lecturing on the international circuit, he wrote original stories, crosswords and articles on Caribbean subjects. After serving his community in various faculty and administrative positions, and lecturing on Ophthalmic surgery in 32 countries, he acquired an Andrew Weil Fellowship in Integrative Medicine and a Masters certificate in Herbal Medicine. In 2012, he retired to farm medicinal plants and organic coffee in the mountains of Puerto Rico. Away from the halls of conventional medicine, he strongly advocates that the best way to treat disease is Prevention, not to get sick in the first place. By applying the basic principles of science to understanding the causes of disease, one can attain and maintain good health and well being in the 21st century, through natural means.
