Über den Autor
Adam Jones, Ph.D. is Professor of Political Science at the University of British Columbia Okanagan in Kelowna, Canada. He is the author of Genocide: A Comprehensive Introduction (Routledge, 4th edition forthcoming), a widely used textbook in the field of comparative genocide studies. He is author or editor of over a dozen other books, mostly on genocide, gender, and crimes against humanity. Jones was selected as one of Fifty Key Thinkers on the Holocaust and Genocide for the book volume of that title (Routledge, 2010). He has worked as an expert consultant with the United Nations Office on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect, helping to implement conflict-prevention seminars in the Balkans, Southeast Asia, and elsewhere.
