Naproxen is chemically, (2S)-2-(6-methoxy naphthalen-2-yl) propanoic acid. It is a propionic acid derivative related to the aryl acetic acid group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly used for the reduction of moderate to severe pain, fever, inflammation and stiffness. Esomeprazole is chemically, (S)-5-methoxy-2-[[(4-methoxy-3,5-dimethyl-2-pyridinyl) methyl]-sulfinyl]-1H-benzimidazole.
