Über den Autor
Alexander Broadie is an honorary professorial research fellow at the University of Glasgow and Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He was Principal Investigator of the Leverhulme International Network Project '17th century Scottish philosophy' (2010-2014). In 2018 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Eighteenth-Century Scottish Studies Society. His publications include A History of Scottish Philosophy (Edinburgh 2009), AgreeableConnexions: Scottish Enlightenment Links with France (Birlinn 2012), History of Universities, Volume XXIX/2 (Oxford 2017), and The Cambridge Companion to the Scottish Enlightenment (Cambridge 2019).
