The quadruple burden of non-communicable diseases coming to the fore as the greatest challenges to morbidity and mortality include diabetes. Über den Autor
Dr Sandra Matabi. Ayuk is currently a post doctorate researcher in the Laser Research Centre (LRC), University of Johannesburg. She is specialized in haematology and blood transfusion as well as laser interaction in diabetic wound healing. Her present research focus is on photodynamic therapy in cancer/cancer stem cells.
