Judy Bowen, the Author of Riding the Fence Really Hurts, was on a fence of instability, indecision, and waffling for twenty years, unwilling to make a firm choice to obey God, in all His ways, and follow His truth exclusively.During this time, she endured many relationships which were not of God's planning, including two marriages, which only heightened her poor choices and decision to stray from God. But God never gave up on her! Her children, who are living for the Lord, are a testimony to that fact.God pursued her as a prodigal daughter, regardless of toxic and negative circumstances, many of which she created for herself. Throughout all this time, while she continued to believe and trust God's Word, and knew, in her heart, that He loved her unwaveringly, she did not yield to God's call upon her, and refused to align herself with God's abundant plan for her whole life.After much heartache and confusion, she chose to finally get off that hurting fence in 1988, and what a transformation! This new commitment literally framed her life of ministry and testimony.
