Multi-level Schemes for Diffrentiated Services Networks
Congestion is caused by shortage of network resources. Congestion control is the mechanism, which allocates the resources of the network such that the performance is acceptable, when network is operating near capacity. Differentiated Services (Diff-Serv) architecture offers services at different levels. Packets are classified and treated differently, as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). A traffic policy is created which defines the shaping, dropping and marking of packets. Über den Autor
Karamdeep Singh was born in Patiala in 1989. He obtained his B. Tech. and M. Tech. from Punjabi University, Patiala in 2010 and 2012, respectively. He has 12 publications to his credit. Presently, he is pursuing Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering at Punjabi University, Patiala. His present research interests include All-Optical Signal Processing.
