This work systematically explores the process of constructing quantitative structure activity relationships (QSARs) to predict rate constants of various reaction steps from catalyst structure. Specifically, this work describes how to construct accurate and broadly applicable QSARs by fitting quantum chemistry calculations to experimental data. Über den Autor
Thomas Manz is an assistant professor in Chemical Engineering at New Mexico State University. He holds Ph.D. (Purdue University, 2009), M.S. (Purdue University, 1998), and B.S. (The University of Toledo, 1994) degrees in Chemical Engineering. He was a temporary researcher (post-doc) at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012.
