Über den Autor
Rebecca Mirsky is an Emeritus Associate Professor and former Chair with the Department of Construction Management at Boise State University, USA. She is a registered professional environmental engineer and an Assessor for the Green Building Initiative's Green Globes rating system. She has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry on both public and private contracts, having worked for both Morrison Knudsen and the Bechtel corporations in various roles including estimator, project cost engineer, field engineer, and subcontracts administrator.John Schaufelberger is Professor Emeritus of Construction Management and Dean Emeritus of the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington, USA. A licensed professional engineer, he served 30 years as an officer in the US Army Corps of Engineers prior to joining the University of Washington faculty. He managed major public works construction projects in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, as well as at many locations throughout the United States. He is the co-author of Management of Construction Projects, Construction Superintendents, and Construction Cost Estimating with Len Holm and Construction Equipment Management, 2nd Edition with Giovanni Migliaccio, all published by Routledge.
