His publications include Sacred Communities: Jewish and Christian Identities in Fifteenth-Century Germany, Jews in the Early Modern World, and Jewish Identity in Early Modern Germany: Memory, Power and Identity. He is also editor of The Routledge Companion to Jewish History and Historiography.
