Permanent Magnet Energy Harvester
A method and experimental results
This monograph focuses on design and fabrication of permanent magnet transducer for harvesting the electric energy from kinetic (vibration) energy. It provides the fundamental principles of electromagnetism and describes how the electromotive force (emf) is developed as the product of ¿ux linkage gradient and velocity. Vibration-driven energy harvester is modelled as a mass-spring-damper system and it also provides the factors that affect the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical power.
