Examination of contemporary publications on the use of hydrogen peroxide in oxidation of hydrocarbons allows to divide these investigations up on three comprehensive chapters: 1) biomimetic oxidation, 2) industry scale oxidation and 3) ecological aspects - the oxidation as a remedy for cleaning contaminated soils and water reservoirs.
