Employing classic mechanics, this book establishes a fundamental framework for the soccer ball multi-body dynamics modeling, virtual prototype simulation and optimization design. It presents 3D virtual prototypes to predict the soccer ball trajectory for soccer players and trainers. Über den Autor
Dr. Ying Li holds her B.E. and M.E. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from North University of China, and the Ph.D. degree in Vehicle Engineering from University of Science and Technology, Beijing. Her professional experience includes a faculty at North University of China; a Post-doctor Research Fellow at University of Missouri-Rolls, USA; a Post-doctor Research Fellow at University of Alberta, Canada; and a Principal Engineer at Caterpillar Global Mining, USA.Dr. Li's research areas include engineering equipment dynamics modeling, virtual prototype simulation, structural strength analysis, mechanical-electric system co-simulation, multi-body dynamics full vehicle simulation. The results of her research initiatives include 3 patents, 10 books, 3 book chapters, over 60 peer-reviewed technical papers in international journals and conferences. She has reviewed the dozens of articles for over ten international journals. Dr. Li was one of the top ten winners of International Simulating Reality Contest, USA in 2015. She has been recognized with the Robert H. Quenon Endowed Research Fellowship Award by University of Missouri-Rolla, USA; the AERI/COURSE Research Fellowship Award by University of Alberta, Canada; twice of Distinguished Faculty Award and 4 times of Outstanding Student Award by North University of China, China.
