Structural and Technical Evaluation for Potential Applications in Electrical and Magnetic Devices
Transition metals doped W-type hexaferrite nanoparticles that have potential for applications in electronic, magnetic and microwave devices, have been synthesized by chemical co-precipitation method. In this study, the structural properties correlation with the electrical, magnetic and microwave characteristics is based on preference of the doped ions for occupation of various sub-lattices. Doping of W-type hexaferrite with the transition metals results in considerable enhancement of the room temperature resistivity, magnetic and microwave absorption properties.
