The late Karl G. Yoneda (1906-1999), former Japanese-American labor activist & WWII veteran, published this diary in Japanese in 1988 through the PMC Publishing Co. in Tokyo, Japan. It chronicles the period from Dec. 7th 1941 to Dec. 17th 1942, during which he and his family were forcibly interned in the Relocation Center for Japanese-Americans at Manzanar, California. This e-book is an English rendition thereof, originally translated from the Japanese by Ian R. Forsyth between 1992-1995.
