A lighting audit of a classroom
This study focuses on the performance of existing lighting installation in the classroom of Energy Centre, MANIT, Bhopal. A detailed lighting audit is carried out by photometric lumens method to achieve/optimise the lighting system. The performance of existing lighting installation has been assessed based on installed efficacy (Lux/W/m2) and Installed Load Efficacy Ratio. Efficient lighting could be achieved by replacement of high power consumption lamps with energy efficient lighting.
