Today young generation, as in the Czech Republic as foreigners, mostly knows little about the history of the totalitarian systems of the 20th century in satellite and occupied countries. Dr. Marie Homerová is teaching at Charles University in Prague. Her Research interests lie in History and Social Studies teaching, methodology and didactics, Cultural History of Europe, History of European Cities, Totalitarian regimes in 20 century. She is a translator of pedagogical literature on Social Studies.
